ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
The Instute of Pedagogy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary (EPSZTI) has been operating since September 1, 2014. Our goal is to provide a wide range of pedagogical-professional support services to public educational institutions maintained by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary. As an open institution, we also offer our services to teachers, students and parents of other non-Lutheran kindergartens and schools. In our work, the key standards are professional and human quality according to the Evangelical Lutheran values.
The work of educational institutions, their maintainers and teachers, as well as the activity related to the protection of the interest of students shall be assisted by pedagogical professional services, listed in the Act on National Public Education and the 48/2012. (XII. 12.) Decree of the Ministry of Human Resources.
Our basic task is to provide the full range of pedagogical professional services and support all members of the Evangelical Lutheran public education school network.
SERVICES
- pedagogical evaluation,
- professional counselling and subject-related support services,
- pedagogical information,
- public education administration counselling,
- supporting and organising training, in-service training and self-education of teachers,
- organising and harmonising study, sports and talent-care competitions,
- information and counselling service for students,
- operating an early warning and pedagogical support system to support students at risk of dropping out.
Education consultants and subject matter experts providing the above listed services are all teachers with a special qualification and at least ten years of professional experience. In addition to the core tasks, we provide educational support services to external partners as well.
